Welcome to the Mechanics Gallery of Artwork.  We hope to educate and inspire all who visit and browse through our gallery as it grows.  We have to thank each mathematician or physicist represented here, for without their lifelong dedication and insight, none of these beautiful ideas would exist.  Without them, the world as we know it, would be a very different place.

Emmy Noether was a German mathematician who lived from March 23, 1882 through til April 14 of 1935.  One of her most beautiful contributions to mathematical physics, known simply as Noether's Theorem, concerned the relationship between conservation laws and symmetries in Nature.  In this picture, it is shown how time symmetry corresponds to the Law of Conservation of Energy.

In this piece, Maxwell’s Equations are derived from the Yang Mills Action.
